About the Journal

Jurnal Akuntansi (JAKSI) with registered numbers Online ISSN: 2716-3849 and Print ISSN: 2301-4075 is an official peer-reviewed, Open Access scientific journal managed professionally by the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta. This journal serves as a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to disseminate comprehensive research findings, review articles, and case studies in the fields of accounting and finance.

Open Access Policy JAKSI is fully committed to open access policies. All published articles are available immediately and freely without charge to users or their institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose in accordance with academic standards.

Focus and Scope JAKSI welcomes and publishes original manuscripts that fall within, but are not limited to, the following core research areas:

Peer Review Process Every manuscript submitted to JAKSI must undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process by independent reviewers who are experts in their respective fields. This anonymous review mechanism is strictly enforced to ensure academic quality, objectivity, methodological soundness, and the scientific integrity of the publication.

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy JAKSI upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any form of academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to similarity checks using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin/iThenticate). Manuscripts found containing elements of plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication (self-plagiarism) will be rejected immediately.

Digital Archiving System To guarantee long-term content preservation and data restoration, JAKSI utilizes the global distributed archiving networks LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. This system allows participating libraries to create permanent digital archives to ensure secure and continuous access to the journal's content.
