Peer Review Process
JAREKOM: Jurnal Jaringan dan Rekayasa Komputer implements a Double-Blind Peer Review process. This policy ensures that the identity of the Author is concealed from the Reviewers, and conversely, the identity of the Reviewers is kept confidential from the Author throughout the entire evaluation process.
The stages of the peer review process in JAREKOM are as follows:
-
Editorial Screening Submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the Editorial Board. This stage aims to ensure the alignment of the topic with the journal's focus and scope, the completeness of the manuscript components, and compliance with the author guidelines (template). Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements or exhibit a high similarity index will be immediately rejected or returned to the authors without undergoing further review.
-
Double-Blind Review Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least 2 (two) Peer Reviewers who are competent and expert in the respective scientific field of the manuscript. Reviewers will evaluate the scientific novelty, methodology, depth of discussion, and the currency of the manuscript's references.
-
Editorial Decision Based on the recommendations and critical remarks from the Reviewers, the Editorial Board will make the final decision regarding the manuscript. The decision will fall into one of the following categories:
-
Accept Submission (Diterima Tanpa Revisi)
-
Revisions Required (Diterima dengan Revisi Minor)
-
Resubmit for Review (Diterima dengan Revisi Mayor)
-
Decline Submission (Ditolak)
-
Revision and Finalization Authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the comments, feedback, and suggestions provided by the Reviewers within the timeframe specified by the Editor. The revised manuscript will be re-evaluated by the editorial team (or sent back to the reviewers in the case of major revisions) before being declared final for production and publication.
Statement of Integrity: The entire review process in JAREKOM is conducted objectively, fairly, and independently to maintain the highest academic quality and scientific integrity of every article we publish.
