About the Journal

JAREKOM: Jurnal Jaringan dan Rekayasa Komputer is a peer-reviewed scientific journal officially published by Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UTM Jakarta) since 2025. Managed under the auspices of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UTM Jakarta, the journal's mission is to disseminate, develop, and facilitate theoretical and experimental research findings in informatics, computer engineering, and computer science. All submitted manuscripts must undergo a rigorous peer-review and editing process, with the final acceptance decision strictly determined by the Editorial Board meeting.

Open Access Policy

JAREKOM strictly adheres to the Open Access model. All published content is freely accessible to users and their respective institutions without financial charges. Under this policy, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the articles, and utilize the content for any other lawful and academic purposes in compliance with the designated licensing terms.

Plagiarism Policy

To uphold rigorous academic integrity, all submitted manuscripts must be entirely free from plagiarism. Authors are highly encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to check text similarity prior to submission. The Editorial Board screens all manuscripts using iThenticate software. Manuscripts exhibiting an unacceptably high similarity index will face immediate rejection.

Archiving System

To ensure digital preservation and long-term data sustainability, this journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS registry systems. These platforms enable participating libraries to establish decentralized archiving networks, securing permanent digital archives for preservation and data recovery purposes.
