Focus and Scope

JAREKOM: Jurnal Jaringan dan Rekayasa Komputer is a peer-reviewed scientific journal officially published by Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UTM Jakarta). The journal focuses on the dissemination of scientific studies, technological analyses, engineering outcomes, and critical thinking in the fields of informatics, computer engineering, and computer science.

The scope of topics accepted by JAREKOM includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Computer Networks and Data Communications

  • Cyber and Network Security

  • Computer and Hardware Engineering

  • Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (IoT)

  • Software Engineering and Applications

  • Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems

Types of Accepted Manuscripts: JAREKOM welcomes high-quality manuscripts in the form of original research articles, review articles, case studies, and literature reviews. Manuscripts may be written in either properly structured Indonesian or English.

Publication Frequency: This journal is published periodically 2 (two) times a year, specifically in June and December.
