Plagiarism Policy
JAREKOM: Jurnal Jaringan dan Rekayasa Komputer maintains a strict commitment to originality and academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous plagiarism screening before entering the peer-review process.
1. Screening Procedure Plagiarism screening is strictly conducted using iThenticate/Turnitin software. Manuscripts exhibiting a similarity index exceeding 20% will either be returned to the authors for revision or face immediate rejection prior to further editorial processing.
2. Definition of Plagiarism Acts categorized as plagiarism violations include:
-
Copying another person's text word-for-word without proper attribution or citation;
-
Paraphrasing too closely to the structure of the original source without including a citation;
-
Utilizing another person's ideas, data, methods, or figures without explicit permission or clear attribution;
-
Recycling one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism) without appropriate disclosure or citation.
3. Action Against Misconduct If plagiarism is discovered post-publication or at any later stage, the Editorial Board reserves the right to formally retract the article from the journal's web system and notify the author's affiliated institution. All handling of ethical misconduct strictly adheres to the guidelines and workflows established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
