JELAWAT: Jurnal Ekonomi Laut dan Air Tawar is a peer-reviewed scientific journal officially published by Universitas Teknologi Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UTM Jakarta) since 2025. This journal serves as a dissemination platform for original research, review articles, and case studies focusing on comprehensive research outcomes within the marine and freshwater economic sectors.

Open Access Policy

JELAWAT is an Open Access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, in accordance with the specified license.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. The editorial office checks article similarity levels using iThenticate/Turnitin software. Manuscripts with high similarity levels will be summarily rejected.

Copyright of published manuscripts is held by JELAWAT: Jurnal Ekonomi Laut and Air Tawar. All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

Archiving System

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
