JELAWAT: Jurnal Ekonomi Laut dan Air Tawar applies a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) policy to support the operational management of the journal. The fee structure is outlined as follows:

Article Submission Fee Submission of manuscripts to JELAWAT is completely free of charge (IDR 0 / Free). Authors can submit their papers through the OJS platform without any fees during the registration and initial evaluation phases.

Article Publication Fee (APC) Manuscripts that have successfully passed the peer-review process and are officially Accepted for publication will be charged a publication fee of IDR 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Indonesian Rupiah) per article. This fee is utilized entirely to cover editorial production costs, OJS platform maintenance, digital archiving management, and ensuring the journal's sustainable open-access availability.

Waiver Policy JELAWAT believes that financial constraints should not be a barrier to the dissemination of scientific knowledge. Authors (especially students or independent researchers) facing financial difficulties may request a full waiver or a fee reduction from the Editorial Board.

The waiver request must be submitted in writing via the journal's official email at the time of initial manuscript submission.

Requests will be evaluated objectively based on the specific circumstances of the authors.

The waiver policy has absolutely no influence on editorial decisions or the objectivity of the peer-review process for the manuscript.
